ADHDAndy Privacy Notice

Last updated: 26 September 2026

ADHDAndy is run by Andrew (Andy) Watson as a sole trader. I am responsible for how personal information collected through ADHDAndy is used. If you have a question or concern about your information, email hello@adhdandy.coach.

What information I collect:

When you contact me, book a call or work with me, I may collect your name, contact details, booking information, messages, coaching agreement, payment records and notes from our conversations. You may also choose to share information about your ADHD, neurodivergence, health or personal circumstances. Please share only what you feel is relevant.

My website may also collect technical information through cookies and similar tools.

How I use your information

I use your information to respond to enquiries, arrange and provide coaching, keep useful and accurate records, manage payments, and meet legal or accounting obligations. I use booking and contact information to take steps towards providing a service you have asked about, and client information to provide the coaching we have agreed. I use financial records to meet legal obligations.

Information about health or neurodivergence needs additional protection. Where I need to keep or use that information as part of coaching, I will ask for your explicit consent. You can withdraw that consent by contacting me, although I may still need to retain some information where the law requires it or another lawful reason applies.

I will only send you marketing updates if you have agreed to receive them. You can unsubscribe or ask me to stop at any time.

Booking, payments and other providers

I use Cal.com for bookings, Google Workspace and Google Meet for email, calendar and online meetings, and Stripe to process card payments. You can also pay by bank transfer. My website is hosted on Wix. These providers process relevant information to help me run the service; each has its own privacy information.

I may use forms, such as Jotform, when you choose to leave your details at an event or express interest in hearing from me. I will use those details for the purpose explained on the form.

I do not sell your personal information. I may share information with a service provider where needed to run ADHDAndy, or where I am legally required to do so. Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, I will use providers with appropriate data protection arrangements and safeguards.

Recording, transcription and AI tools

I will explain any proposed recording, transcription or AI assisted note taking before using it for a coaching session and ask for your separate agreement. You can decline without losing access to coaching. I will tell you which tool I propose to use, what information it receives, and how any recording or transcript will be stored and deleted.

How long I keep information

I keep enquiries that do not lead to coaching for up to 12 months after our last contact. I keep coaching agreements, correspondence and notes for up to two years after our last session, unless there is a good reason to keep them longer, such as an unresolved concern or legal claim. I keep financial records for six years to meet accounting and tax obligations.

If a session is recorded or transcribed, I will normally delete the recording and raw transcript within 30 days once any agreed notes have been checked, unless we agree another period or there is a specific reason to retain them. I review information and delete it securely when it is no longer needed.

Your choices and rights

You can ask me for a copy of the personal information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or request that I delete or restrict its use. You can also object to some uses of your information and withdraw consent where consent is the basis for using it. Some rights have exceptions, including where I must keep a record for legal reasons.

Email hello@adhdandy.coach to make a request or raise a complaint about how I have used your information. I will acknowledge a data protection complaint within 30 days, investigate it and tell you the outcome without undue delay. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

I may update this notice as ADHDAndy develops. The current version will always be available on this website.
